Reading and Literacy Coordinator
Fixed term until 31.08.25
15 hours per week, term time (38 weeks plus 1 additional week)
Salary paid for 44.6 weeks per year
We are looking to appoint a Reading and Literacy Coordinator in our library. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop this area as a "Literacy Hub" to promote a love of reading and wider literacy and to develop strategies to raise reading ages in all students.

Quality Centralised Cover Supervisor
Grade H (Points 1-6)
Salary range - £27,818 - £31,962 per annum (actual salary £23,795 - £27,340 based on 37 hours per week)
39 working weeks (term time plus 1 additional week)
We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor which involves the delivery of cover lessons to a number of classes in a communal space, ie library, lecture theatre. The post holder will be crucial in maintaining the continuity of education during the absence of regular member(s) of teaching staff. You will ensure that students are settled and working in a calm and purposeful learning environment in line with the Trust’s vision and will coordinate and quality assure the delivery of cover. The successful candidate must be able to resolve day-to-day problems independently and demonstrate and develop professional practice excellence to meet the changing demands of the role.

General Supply Teacher/Unqualified Teacher - Secondary (casual)
Daily rate: £137.01 (£21.12/hour)
This opportunity will suit a qualified teacher or unqualified teacher looking for a flexible work-life balance whilst still working within education, an ECT looking to widen their experience, or a retired teacher who is looking for ad hoc work. We are looking for dedicated and experienced classroom practitioners who have a love of teaching and the ability to deliver a variety of subjects. You will not be required to undertake any planning or marking and as a casual worker will have the ability to work on the days that suit you and based on the needs of a school.
Falmouth School is the base school for casual assignments there may be opportunities to support at the other schools within the Trust by mutual agreement.
